Description:
Transparent solution from light yellow to dark yellow.
Composition:
1 ml of the preparation contains
the active ingredient:
tylosine – 200 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Tylosine is a mixture of macrolide antibiotics produced by Streptomyces fradiae, mainly including tylosine A. Tylosine is effective against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative microorganisms: Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrixspp, Pasteurella spp., Vibrio spp., Leptospira spp., Brucella spp., Neisseria spp., Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp., as well as against mycoplasma spp.
Application:
Cattle, sheep, goats: treatment of animals with bronchopneumonia, pneumoenteritis, metrite, arthritis, necrotic pododdermatitis, contagious agalactia, mastitis, calf diphtheria, goat pleuropneumonia, interstitial pneumonia in calves, chlamydia abortions in sheep caused by microorganisms sensitive to tylosine.
Pigs: treatment of animals with enzootic pneumonia, enteritis, dysentery, atrophic rhinitis, face, staphylococcal arthritis, leptospirosis, MMA syndrome caused by microorganisms sensitive to tylosine.
Dogs, cats: treatment of animals with diseases of the digestive tract and respiratory organs, as well as animals with otitis, cystitis, metrite, dermatitis, leptospirosis caused by microorganisms sensitive to tylosine.
The drug is also used to treat surgical infections and secondary bacterial infections in viral diseases.
Dosage:
Intramuscularly once a day in doses:
Cattle – 0,25-0,5 ml of the preparation per 22lb (10kg) body weight;
Sheep and goats – 0.25-0.5 ml of the preparation per 22 lb (10kg) body weight;
Pigs – 0.5 ml of the preparation per 22 lb (10kg) body weight;
Dogs, cats – 0.25-0.5 ml of the preparation per 22 lb (10kg) body weight.
The drug is discontinued 24 hours after the disappearance of symptoms of the disease, but not later than after 5 days of use.
Do not administer more than 20 ml to adult cattle; more than 15 ml to calves, sheep and goats; more than 10 ml to pigs and pigs; more than 5 ml to dogs and cats. If the required dose is greater than permitted, it is separated and injected into several places.
Contraindications:
Do not use animals with hypersensitivity to tylosine.
Do not use animals in the first week of life.
Do not use simultaneously with penicillins, cephalosporins and lincomycin due to a pronounced decrease in the antibacterial effect of tylosine.
Do not use horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters.
Cautions:
Killing animals for meat is allowed 8 days after the last application of the drug. Milk consumption for food is allowed after 4 days after the last use of the preparation. Meat and milk received before this date are disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the opinion of the veterinarian.
Form of issue:
Polymeric and/or glass bottles, sealed with a rubber plug for aluminum running-in, 100 ml each.
Storage:
Dry dark, inaccessible for children at temperatures between 44-77F (5 ° C and 25 ° C).
Shelf life – 2 years. After the first selection from the bottle, the drug should be used for 28 days in storage in a dark place at a temperature of 40-77F (5 ° C to 25 ° C).
