Description
1 tube = 5 grams
4 x 5grams = 20 grams
Description:
White oily suspension with a specific smell.
Composition:
1 syringe tube (5 grams) contains
active ingredients:
Penicillin procaine – 100000 ME;
streptomycin sulfate – 100 mg;
Neomycin sulfate – 100 mg;
Prednisolone – 10 mg;
Pharmacological properties:
Penicillin procaine is a bactericidal antibiotic of the penicillin series, it acts on the following bacteria: Campylobacter spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Erysipelothrix spp., Actinobacillus spp., Haemophilus spp., Listeria spp., Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. Its mechanism of action consists in violation of the synthesis of peptidoglycan, a mucopeptide of the cellular membrane, which leads to inhibition of the synthesis of the cell wall of the microorganism, inhibition of growth and reproduction of bacteria.
Streptomycin sulfate belongs to the streptomycin subgroup of natural aminoglycosides and is an antibiotic with a bactericidal type of antimicrobial action. The substance acts on microorganisms in the multiplication stage and is slightly weaker on microbes in the resting stage. The bactericidal effect of the antibiotic is realized by inhibiting the protein synthesis of microbial cells. Streptomycin sulfate has antimicrobial action against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including acid-resistant and penicillin-resistant forms, suppressing the growth of most microbes that belong to the genera Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Brucella, Klebsiella, Mycobacterium, Neiseria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Shigella, Haemophilus, etc.
In the source of inflammation, swelling and infiltration decrease under the influence of streptomycin, and the transition of exudative reaction to productive one is accelerated.
Neomycin sulfate belongs to the subgroup of neomycin of natural aminoglycosides, formed by actinomycetes.
Neomycin is an antibiotic of a wide range of antimicrobial action. It is active against many gram-negative bacteria and cocci (E.coli, genera Salmonella, Shigella, Meningococcus) as well as gram-positive microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Enterococcus spp.). The bactericidal effect of the antibiotic, as in other members of the aminoglycosides group, is achieved by inhibiting protein synthesis of microbial cells.
Prednisolone is a dehydrated analogue of hydrocortisone. It has properties inherent in other compounds of this group, namely: anti-inflammatory, desensitizing and antiallergic action, anti-shock and antitoxic properties. Stimulating steroid receptors, it induces the formation of a special class of proteins – lycortiniv, which have anti-edematous activity, and reduces the activity of hyaluronidase and reduces the permeability of capillaries.
Application:
Treatment in cows during lactation of various forms of bacterial etiology mastitis.
Dosage :
The content of one syringe tube is injected into the affected breast, which is given and disinfected beforehand. After administration, a quarter of the breast is massaged to ensure that it is evenly distributed throughout the tank. Repeated administration is carried out every 24 hours for 3 days.
Contraindications:
Do not use animals sensitive to penicillin and aminoglycoside drugs.
Cautions:
Killing animals for meat is allowed 7 days after the last injection of the drug. Milk consumption for food is allowed 108 hours after the last use of the drug. Milk and meat are fed to unproductive animals or disposed of (depending on the opinion of the veterinary surgeon) by this date.
Form of issue:
Intramammary syringes (syringes-tubes) of 5 grams, packed in 4 pcs. in a plastic bag.
Storage:
Dry, dark, inaccessible to children at temperatures ranging from 60-95F (15 ° C to 25 ° C).
Shelf life – 2 years from the date of manufacture.
