Description
Light yellow to yellow powder.
Composition
100 grams of the drug contains
the active substance: diclazuril – 0.2 grams.
Pharmacological properties
Diclazuril is a chemically synthesized neonophore, which belongs to the class of benzeneacetonitriles, which disrupts the energy metabolism of the endogenous cycle of the development of eimeria. Diclazuril acts on all species of bird eimeria ( Eimeria acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix, E. tenella, E. adenoides, E. gallopavonis, E. meleagrimitis, E. anseris, E. truncata et al.), eimeria of rabbits ( E. flavescens, E. intestinalis, E. magna, E. perforans, E. stiedae , etc.), young cattle ( E. bovis, E. zuernii, E. ellipsoidalis, E . cylindrica ), young sheep, goats ( E. crandalis, E. ovinoidalis, E. arloingi, E. intricata, E. faurei ) and piglets (Isospora suis; E. suis, E. debliecki, E. scabra, E. perminuta ). The most sensitive to the drug are non-sexual forms of the endogenous cycle of development of eimeria; the drug also inhibits sporulation of oocysts. Diclazuril does not cumulate in the organs and tissues of animals and does not cause negative consequences even when the recommended doses are exceeded by 25-50 times.
Application
Treatment and prevention of cattle (young growth), sheep (young growth), goats (young growth), rabbits (young growth), pigs (broiler chickens), waterfowl (young growth of ducks, geese, pheasants, turkeys) with eimeriosis caused by various types of eimeria.
