Ointment of paste-like consistency of dark grey color with a brown shade and specific odor.
Composition:
It contains 1 gram of the drug:
salicylic acid – 50mg;
besieged sulfur – 100mg;
zinc oxide – 100mg;
tar of birch – 50mg;
turpentine oil – 75mg;
ichthyol 50mg;
anhydrous lanolin – 50mg;
Vaseline veterinary – 525mg;
Pharmacological properties:
The ointment has a pronounced fungicidal and bactericidal action, which is predetermined by the synergistic properties of the constituent parts.
The ointment base promotes penetration of the active components of the preparation into the skin, where they destroy the existing pathogens throughout the thickness of the lesion.
Application:
Externally for the treatment of cattle, horses, goats, pigs, dogs and cats, in microsporia, trichophytosis (ringworm), dermatophyllosis, hoof lesions in necrobacteriosis of domestic animals, ulcers subodermatitis, myositis, eczema, ulcers, rheumatic myositis, dermatitis, dermatosis.
Dosage:
Outside.
The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the skin lesion area and 3 cm around the skin without previous scale removal and coat cutting.
The preparation is lightly rubbed into the skin with a rubber glove.
The affected areas are treated 1-2 times a day for 4-5 days.
After 7-10 days, the affected skin is freed of scales, they appear on the coat, disappear clinical signs of the disease.
Contraindications:
Do not use animals with high individual sensitivity (allergy) to the drug or weak and exhausted.
Cautions:
When the product is applied to the skin of cats, prevent licking. The ointment is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents (potassium permanganate, etc.).
Storage
Dry, dark and well ventilated room on racks at temperatures between 35-77F (2° C to 25° C).
Do not store with foodstuffs.
Shelf life – 2 years.
