Homogeneous white ointment with a specific scent.

 

 

Composition:

1 gram of the preparation contains active substances:

Chlorhexidine Bigluconate 10mg;

Zinc oxide 50mg.

 

 

Pharmacological properties:

The drug has a pronounced antiseptic effect.

Ointment components are effective against gram-positive (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Mycobacterium spp., Corynebacterium xerosis, Micrococcus spp., Sarcina lutea, Clostridium spp., Bacillus subtilus) and gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp. , Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas spp., Neisseria spp., Enterobacter spp., Serratia marcescens, Providencia spp.).

Yeast fungi (Candida spp.), dermatophytes (Dermatophytes, Microsporum, Trichophyton, Trichoderma), lipophilic viruses, chlamydia.

The drug has anti-inflammatory, astringent, local anesthetic effect.

Due to its hypertension, the ointment enhances exudation, accelerates purulent inflammatory processes, purifies and heals infected wounds.

Zinc oxide, which is part of the ointment, is indispensable for normal skin function.

 

 

Application:

Outwardly for the treatment of skin diseases of cattle, horses, pigs, rabbits, poultry, dogs and cats caused by bacterial and fungal microflora: skin staphylococcosis, pyodermia, eczema impetigines, skin candidiasis, dermatomycosis (trichophytosis, microsporia), seborrhea, external otitis, purulent wounds, surface abscesses, burns.

 

 

Dosage:

Outside.
The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected skin 1-2 times a day until complete recovery, but at least 2-3 days after the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease.
The duration of application is determined by the type of pathological process.
In case of fungal diseases, the duration of treatment is 7-10 days after the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease.
In case of purulent wounds and abscesses, gauze napkins are soaked, which fill the wound or the cavity of the abscess.
Ligation should be applied daily until complete removal of the purulent necrotic masses.

 

 

Contraindications :

Do not use at individual hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine bibluconate; at dermatitis, allergies.

Do not use simultaneously with iodine preparations.

 

 

Cautions:

Avoid getting ointment on mucous membranes .

 

 

Storage:

Dry, dark place at temperatures between 32-77F (0°C and 25°C).
Do not store with foodstuffs.

Shelf life – 2 years from the date of manufacture.
