Chlorotetracycline hydrochloride – 1 gram.

 

 

Pharmacological properties:

Chlorotetracycline is an antibiotic with a pronounced bacteriostatic action.
It is active against Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms, rickettsia, mycoplasma, spirochet, chlamydia. Particularly sensitive to it Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Brucella spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas spp., Corynebacterium, Klebsiella spp.

 

 

Application:

Treatment of postpartum intrauterine infections, acute and chronic endometritis, metritis, postpartum delays and their prevention after complicated deliveries in cows, sheep and goats.

 

 

 

Suppository dosage is used intrauterineally in the dose:

Cows:

For prophylactic purposes – 1 suppository per animal once within 24 hours after delivery; for therapeutic purposes – 1-2 suppositories per animal.

 

Sheep, goats:

For preventive purposes – 1/2 suppositories per animal once within 24 hours after calming;

therapeutic – 1/2-1 suppositories for one animal.

If necessary, the treatment is repeated after 48 hours.

 

Cautionary note:

 

Do not use animals with hypersensitivity to chlortetracycline:

Do not use if the cervix is open enough (immediately after delivery).

Not used during pregnancy.

It is allowed to slaughter animals for meat 10 days after the last injection of the drug.

Consumption of milk is allowed 4 days after the last administration of the drug.

 

 

Storage:

Dry, dark place at temperatures between 60-77F (15 ° C to 25 ° C).

Shelf life – 3 years from the date of manufacture.
