Composition:

1 gram of the preparation contains

the active ingredient:

Doxycycline giclat-100 mg;

Tylosine tartrate – 100 mg.

 

Pharmacological action:

Doxycycline – bacteriostatic antibiotic, belongs to the group of tetracyclines.
It acts on ribosomes of bacteria, preventing protein synthesis. The preparation has a wide range of antimicrobial action on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Staphylococcus spp., Diplococcuspneumonia, Streptococcusspp.., Haemophilusinfluenza, E. coli, Pneumococci, Bacillusantracis, Clostridiumtetani, Clostridiumperfringes, Listeriamonocytogens, Actinomycesspp., Entirobacterspp., Klebsiellaspp.., Salmonellaspp., Shigellaspp., Yersiniaspp.), as well as mycoplasmaspp., rickettsiaspp. and chlamydia.

Tylosine is an antibiotic of the macrolide group, active against Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms (Staphylococcus spp.., Streptococcus spp., Diplococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrixrhusiopathiae, Neisseriaspp., Bacteriodesnodosus, Moraxellabovis, Pasteurellaspp., Sprinocceta spp.). Mycoplasmagallisepticum, Mycoplasmahyopneumoniae, Mycoplasmasynoviae, Mycoplasmameleagridis, Mycoplasmaagalactiae, Mycoplasmabovigenitalium, as well as chlamydia (Chlamydia) and rickettsiaspp (Rickettsiaspp.) are particularly sensitive to tilozine.
The mechanism of action of tilosine is to block the synthesis of proteins in a bacterial cell by forming a complex with 50S ribosom subunits. The presence of feed in the digestive canal does not significantly affect the absorption of the preparation.

Doxycycline – after oral administration, it is well absorbed in the digestive canal and reaches its maximum concentration in serum after 2 hours. Doxycycline penetrates well into the lungs, so it is effective in the treatment of respiratory infections.

Tylosine – after oral application it is well absorbed, penetrates into all internal organs and is maintained at the therapeutic level in the blood of animals and birds for 6-8 hours.
The maximum concentration in blood is reached in 30 minutes after feeding.
The bioavailability of tilozine is not affected by feed intake.
Tylosine is excreted from the body with urine, bile and feces.

 

 

Application .

Calves, goats and lambs aged 4 to 8 weeks, pigs: treatment of animals, respiratory diseases (bronchopneumonia, enzootic pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, etc.), digestive tract (colibacillosis, salmonellosis), septicemia.

Poultry (chickens, broilers, turkeys, repair young animals) – treatment of poultry, for colibacillosis, salmonellosis, chlamydia, septicemia, as well as respiratory diseases.

 

 

 

How to use and doses:

For the treatment of animals, the drug is used internally within 3-5 days at the rate:

calves, lambs, goats – with feed, drinking water or milk in a dose of 1 gram of the drug to 22lb (10 kg) body weight once a day;

pigs – with feed or drinking water of 1 gram per 22lb (10 kg) body weight once a day.

Poultry – with feed or drinking water 1 gram per 22lb (10 kg) body weight, or 1 gram per 1 liter of water. Depending on the severity of the disease the first dose of the drug can be doubled.

Prevention: it is recommended to reduce the therapeutic dosage by half. Duration – 3-5 days.

 

 

 

Period of withdrawal:

It is allowed to slaughter animals for meat in 8 days (pigs and poultry) and 14 days (calves, lambs, goats) after the last application of the preparation. The meat received before the specified period is disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinary medicine doctor.

 

Shelf life -3 years.

Shelf life after the first opening (selection): 28 days.
