Composition:

1 gram of the preparation contains the active ingredient:

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 10 mg.

 

 

Pharmacological properties:

The ointment has a pronounced bacteriostatic properties, which are due to the action of oxytetracycline – an antibiotic of a wide range of antimicrobial action, active relative to most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Staphyllococcus “rr.., Streptococcus Pp., Essenia soli, Pastegella Pp., Salmonella Pp. and others), as well as Rickettsia spp., some species of Chlamydia Pp. and Garbage, inactive according to Rseudomonas aeruginosa.

Oxytetracycline penetrates microorganism cells due to diffusion and partially by active transport. The action of oxytetracycline is caused by impaired protein synthesis due to blockage of ribosomal function in microorganisms sensitive to the preparation.

 

 

Application:

Treatment of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats and rabbits suffering from conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal ulcer and other eye diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracilin.

 

 

Dosage:

The ointment is placed with a glass spatula or injected through the tube cannula (to securely fix the head of the animal) in the lower eyelid 1-2 times a day until recovery.

 

 

Form of release:

Laminate tubes 30 grams each.

 

 

Storage:
Dry dark, inaccessible for children at temperatures between 40-77F (+ 5 ° C to + 25 ° C).
