Description
Opalescent liquid from light yellow to yellow, viscous consistency.
Composition:
1 ml of the preparation contains
the active ingredient:
ivermectin – 10.0 mg,
vitamin E -40 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Ivermectin has a pronounced antiparasitic effect on larval and sexually mature stages of
gastrointestinal nematodes and lungs, larvae of subcutaneous, nasopharyngeal, gastric glands, lice,
bloodsuck and sarcoptoid ticks.
The drug strengthens the production of the inhibition neurotransmitter – gamma-aminobutyric
acid, which leads to impaired transmission of nerve impulses, paralysis and death of the parasite.
Due to the micellar drug form of ivermectin and vitamin E addition, the drug is quickly absorbed
from the injection site, distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal, providing parasiticidal
action for 10 – 14 days.
The recommended doses do not have sensitizing, embryotoxic, teratogenic and mutagenic effect.
It is derived from the body mainly with urine and bile in lactating animals with milk.
In the external environment, the drug is quickly destroyed. Toxic to fish and bees.
