Suspension for intracisternal use
The line-up:
10 ml of the drug contains active ingredients:
Cloxacillin sodium salt – 300 mg;
Neomycin sulfate – 150 mg;
Sodium sulfathiasol – 500 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
The combination of cloxacillin and neomycin antibiotics with sulfonamide provides a wide range of bactericidal action to the majority of gram-positive and gram-negative microbes – the main pathogens of mastitis (Staphylococcus, E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Shigella, Mycoplasma).
Application:
NKS maste is used for treatment of dairy cows with serous, catarrhal, fibrinous, purulent or subclinical mastitis.
Dosage:
After the patient’s udder fraction has been carefully milked and aseptic milking has been performed, the drug in the amount of 10 ml is slowly introduced into the milk canal directly from the syringe tube (or with the help of a milk catheter and syringe). Before insertion, the contents of the bottle (tubes) are heated to body temperature and actively shaken until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After administration, a gentle massage is performed from the bottom to the top of the udder so that the drug spreads to the upper udder. Repeated injections are carried out after evening milking of cows every day for 3-5 days.
Contraindications:
Do not use the product in animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
Cautions:
For the period of treatment and within 72 hours after the last administration of the drug, milk from the diseased udder portion is disposed of in a separate container and disposed of. It is prohibited to slaughter animals for meat during treatment. Meat consumption for food is allowed 7 days after the last administration of the preparation.
Storage:
Dry, dark, inaccessible for children at temperatures ranging from 32-77F (0 ° C to 25 ° C).
