It is a colourless, odourless liquid.
Ingredients:
100 ml of the preparation contains the active substance:
Calcium Gluconate 10 grams.
Usage:
In calcium failure (rickets, osteomalacia, tetany); as an anti-inflammatory agent for pneumonia, pleuritis, peritonitis, toxic liver damage, parenchymatous hepatitis, nephritis, toxic pulmonary oedema, hyperemia and pulmonary oedema, swelling of the larynx, swollen piglets. As a staunching agent for nasal, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, uterine and postoperative bleeding. As a desensitizer for allergic diseases (asthma, serum disease, skin itching, hemorrhagic disease in horses, chronic hives in horses and cattle) and allergic complications after medication. As a soothing, normalizing nervous system means in vegetative neuroses, eclampsia in dogs, acetoneemia in cows, paralytic myoglobinuria in horses. In obstetrical and gynecological practice (in endometritis, metrics, for stimulation of labor activity, acceleration of postpartum separation in animals, prevention of abortions, at a delivery interval, postpartum hematuria in cows). Used in cattle hypotension and atony of the pancreas, hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Appointed as an antidote for poisoning with magnesium salts, oxalic acid, soluble salts of fluoride and oxalic acid.
Dosage:
The drug is injected intramuscularly, intravenously (slowly) or internally. The syringe should not contain any alcohol residues before filling because calcium gluconate precipitates in the presence of the latter.
Single doses per animal are as follows:
cattle – 100-200 ml;
horses – 100-200 ml;
sheep, goats, pigs – 50-100 ml;
dogs – 20-40 ml.
The preparation is used for animals 1 – 2 times a day. If necessary, the treatment course is repeated every 2 – 3 days.
Cautions:
Livestock products can be used without restrictions after the application of calcium gluconate solution 10%.
Storage:
Store in a dry, dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures between 40-77F (5 ° C to 25 ° C).
