Description
Composition
1 ml of the preparation contains:
Transmix – 50 mg;
Tetramethrin – 5 mg.
Transmix and Tetrametrin, included in the composition, are synthetic pyrethroids.
The mechanism of action of which is to block the nerve impulse conduction due to changes in membrane permeability for sodium ions, which leads to irreversible paralysis and death of parasites.
Synthetic peretroids are means of contact action, active against sarcoptoid, ixodic, demodecosic mites; lice, fleas, vlasoedov, blood-sucking insects and zoophilic flies.
Application:
Used to control ectoparasites of animals, as well as to destroy flies in livestock and utility rooms.
used for cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, dogs.
Cattle: for treatment and prophylaxis of psoroptose, demodecosis, for control of insects, fleas, ixodic ticks and flies.
Sheep: for the treatment and prevention of psoroptosis, insect control, flies.
Horses: for treatment and prevention of scabies, for control of insects, flies, ticks.
Pigs: for fighting flies, ticks, lice, fleas.
Rabbits: for the treatment and prevention of ear scabies.
Dogs and cats: for the treatment and prevention of demodecosis, fighting fleas, ibex and scabies.
METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
It is applied in the form of an emulsion, which is formed after its addition to the water.
The working emulsion is prepared immediately before use.
The amount of water emulsion required for treatment and the amount of medicinal product required for its preparation are determined.
When preparing large volumes of working emulsion, the calculated amount is thoroughly mixed with 10-20 liters of water, and then, after the formation of a stable emulsion, poured into the tank of the sprayer or a bathtub, add water to the required volume and mix thoroughly.
Working emulsion in the dilution of 1:1000 prepared at the rate of 1 liter of preparation per 1000 liters of water. To prepare the working emulsion 1:200 in each liter of water is made 5 ml.
Aqueous emulsion is cooked in dishes, not intended for food purposes. Animals are treated in the open air at a temperature not lower than 60 F (+18C) or in well-ventilated rooms with open windows.
Before mass treatment of animals, each series of drugs is tested on a small group (10-15) of animals of different fatness. If no signs of toxicosis are observed in animals within 2 days after the treatment, the whole herd will be treated.
For the treatment and prevention of psoroptose of sheep, fight against icode ticks and other blood-sucking insects in the breeding 1:1000 is used by bathing in a bath, or spraying with a rate of 1-2 liters per sheared sheep and 2-3 liters per uncut sheep. Exposure while bathing – 60 seconds.
To maintain the necessary concentration after bathing 200 uncircumcised or 400 sheared sheep in the bath add water to the initial level and at the rate of 100 ml for each newly added 100 liters of water.
After bathing, 3000 sheep are poured into lagoon wells to prevent environmental pollution, the bath is cleaned of dirt and filled with newly prepared emulsion.
Psoroptosis-affected sheep are treated twice at 7-10 day intervals, suspected of disease – once. Against ixodic ticks and insects treatment is carried out once, repeated treatments are carried out according to indications, but not more than once in 10 days.
Sheep are treated in dry weather at the temperature of compartment emulsion in a bath 68-77F (20C – 25C).
Sheep after treatment should stay for 1-2 hours at a special site for flowing emulsion.
It is not recommended to treat lambs after weaning together with sheep in the baths.
In farms, unsuccessful in psoroptozu sheep, treated animal houses in the absence of animals with water emulsion Neostomozan (1:1000) with a rate of consumption of 300-400 ml/m2 treated surface.
Cattle and horses are sprayed with water emulsion in dilution of 1:1000 in case of insects, ixode and sarcoptoid ticks.
When spraying, it is necessary to moisten the entire body of the animal, especially the areas in the ears, extremities, abdomen and tail area.
The consumption rate of the working emulsion depending on the weight of the animal is 10 ml / 2.2lb (1kgkgkg), but not more than 4 litres per animal.
Repeated treatment for entomosis and sarcoptoidosis is performed twice at 7-day intervals.
Pigs with sarcoptosis and hematopinosis are sprayed with a working emulsion of Neostomosan in the dilution of 1:1000 with a rate of 3 ml / 2.2lb (1kg), but not more than 300 ml per animal. Treatment is performed twice at intervals of 7-10 days.
Simultaneously, the working emulsion treated surfaces in the absence of animals with a rate of 300-400 ml/m2, where they contain pigs.
Dogs with entomosis (lice, fleas, vlasoids) and sarcoptoidosis are treated with a sponge, carefully wetting the entire body surface with an emulsion in dilution 1:200 with a rate of 10 ml / 2.2lb (1 kg) for long-haired breeds, for short-haired breeds – 5 ml / 2.2lb (1 kg) of animal weight.
In entomosis treatment is carried out according to indications; in sarcoptoidosis – twice at intervals of 7-10 days.
In order to prevent the production of fleas and reinvasions, the animals are replaced with bedding or treated on the back side of the working emulsion, and then washed with detergent.
To control flies in the feed kitchen, preventive clinics, artificial insemination points, machines for keeping newborn calves, on farms and complexes for fattening cattle and pigs, animal farms, horse factories and other objects of veterinary supervision in the breeding of 1:1000 is used in the absence of animals by a small drop application on the surface (walls, ceiling, equipment) with a rate of consumption of 60-80 ml/m2.
After the treatment room is kept closed for 1-1.5 hours, then open windows, doors and air for 30 minutes. Deceased flies are swept away and disposed of. Feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed with mildly alkaline soda solution, and then introduced into the animal room. Repeated treatment of the premises is carried out according to indications.
In summer camps flies are destroyed by selective application of water emulsion on the inner and outer surfaces of walls, sheds, pens and other places where insects are localized.
