PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Tilmicosine is a semi-synthetic antibiotic of the macrolide group, in small concentrations it acts bacteriostatically, and in large concentrations it is bactericidal for gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, namely Ornithobacteriumrhinotrachealae, Pasteurella spp.., Haemophilus spp., Actinomyces spp., Corynebacterium spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium perfringens, and mycoplasma spp.
The mechanism of action of the drug consists in blocking protein synthesis in a bacterial cell as a result of the formation of a complex with 50S ribosomes subunits.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Calves (up to 3 months old): treatment of animals with respiratory diseases caused by Mycoplasma bovis, M. dispar, Pasteurella multocida, P. haemolytica and other microorganisms sensitive to tilmicosin.
Pigs: treatment of animals with diseases of pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and other microorganisms sensitive to tilmicosin.
Chickens (chickens, broilers, repair young animals, parent pairs) and turkeys: treatment of poultry with diseases of the respiratory system caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, M. synoviae, M. meleagridis, Ornithobacterium rhinotrachealae, Pasteurella multocida and other microorganisms sensitive to tilmicosine.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Oral in dose:
calves – with drinking water or milk substitute once a day 1 ml of the preparation for 44lb (20 kg) of body weight for 3-5 days.
pigs – 80 ml of the preparation per 100 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
chickens (chickens, broilers, repair young animals, parent pairs) and turkeys – 30 ml of preparation per 100 liters of drinking water for 3 days.
HATCHING PERIOD
It is allowed to slaughter animals and poultry for meat in 14 (pigs), 42 (calves) and 12 (chickens, turkeys) days after the last application of the preparation. The meat received before the specified period is disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinary medicine doctor.
Shelf life -2 years.
After the first selection of the preparation – 14 days if stored in a dark place at temperatures between 40-77F (5 ° to 25 ° C).
Shelf life after dilution in drinking water – 24 hours.
