Structure:

1 ml of the drug contains

the active substance:

aAlbendazole     -100 mg.

 

 

Pharmacological properties:

The active substance of the drug – albendazole – methyl [5- (propylsulfanyl) -1H-benzimidazol-2-yl] carbamate, belongs to the group of benzimidazoles. Albendazole inhibits protein (tubular) synthesis, as a result of which the intake and intracellular transportation of nutrients and the exchange of adenosine triphosphoric acid and glucose are disrupted. Mitochondrial reactions are reduced through inhibition of fumarate reductase, which causes a decrease in the amount of glycogen and death of parasites from depletion.

Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, effective against sexually mature forms of trematodes (Fasciola hepatica and Dicrocoelium lanceatum), nematodes parasitizing in the digestive canal and lungs (Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Dictyocaulidae spp., Haemon. Ostertagia spp., Strongyloides spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Trichuris spp., Etc.), and some types of cestodes (Avitellina centripumctata, Moniezia expansa, Moniezia benedeni, Thysaniezia giardi).

 

 

 

Application:

Deworming of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, fur animals, poultry with nematodes (mature and immature forms), some types of cestodes and trematodes.

 

 

               Cattle:  nematodes, trematodes, cestodes.

               Sheep, goats:  nematodes, trematodes, cestodes. 

               Pigs:  nematodes. 

               Horses and other one-hoofed animals:  nematodes, cestodes.

               Dogs, cats, fur animals:  nematodes, cestodes .

               Chickens:  nematodes, trematody.

 

 

 

Dosage:

The drug is given to the animals before the morning feeding with water, individually in the doses indicated in the table:

Contraindications:

Do not use for females during the first 4-6 weeks after their insemination.

 

 

Warnings:

Slaughter of cattle, sheep and goats for meat is allowed after 7 days, pigs – after 10 days, poultry – 2 days after the last use of the drug; the use of internal organs (liver, lungs, heart) of pigs is allowed after 35 days, ruminants and poultry after 20 days, milk consumption – 2 days after the last use of the drug.

 

 

 

Storage:

A dry, dark place inaccessible to children at a temperature of  32-85F   (0 ° to 30 ° C).

Do not store together with food, drinks, animal feed.

Shelf life – 3 years from the date of manufacture.
