Description
Clear colorless or yellowish solution.
Ingredients:
1 ml of the preparation contains active substances:
α-tocopherol acetate – 50mg;
sodium selenite – 1,09mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Vitamin E (tocopherol) is involved in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, inhibits lipid oxidation and prevents the formation of peroxide compounds, ketones and aldehydes, provides stability of cellular lysosomal and mitochondrial membranes, enhances the biological effect of vitamins A and D. With a lack of tocopherol membrane permeability increases, which contributes to the elimination of various enzymes in the blood, which enhances the toxic effects of peroxide compounds.
Selenium is part of an enzyme – glutathione peroxidase. With a lack of selenium activity of the enzyme decreases and, as a result, the body accumulates underoxidized peroxides, which cause dystrophic changes in the myocardium, skeletal muscles and liver.
Application:
Prevention and treatment of pathologies caused by vitamin E and selenium deficiency: white muscle disease, myo and hepatodystrophy, encephalomalacia, exudative diathesis and poultry muscle dystrophy. The drug stimulates reproducible functions and prevents postpartum complications.
Dosage:
The drug is used with drinking water or feed.
For preventive purposes – once every 2-3 weeks for adult cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs in a dose of 1 ml per 110lb (50 kg) body weight;
calves, foals, lambs, piglets – 1 ml per 44lb (20 kg) body weight;

The dose of the preparation should not exceed: for horses – 20 ml, for cows – 15 ml, for calves, sheep, goats and pigs – 5 ml.
For poultry the preparation is applied in dose 1-2 ml per 1 liter of drinking water or in dilution 1: 100 with drinking water in dose 1 ml per 2.2lb (1 kg) of body weight.
For preventive purposes, the preparation is applied to chickens once in 2-3 weeks, to young and adult birds – once a month; with therapeutic – 2-3 times at intervals of 1-2 weeks.
